Learning is the process of acquiring new knowledge and behaviours. Learning is an adaptive process, by which the tendency to perform a behaviour is mediated an individual’s experience of previous outcomes, and expectations of future outcomes. There are many types of learning, from classical conditioning and operant conditioning to social learning and habituation.
